Sampling in Thai pharmacies without crowding the aisle
Monsoon weekends push traffic into covered pharmacy fronts. Brands rush to sample vitamins and topical gels. Store managers push back when promoters stand in the only clear path to the pharmacist.
Our sampling protocol sets a fixed footprint — usually a 90 cm mat beside the entrance cooler, never at the counselling window. Promoters are briefed to hand samples only after a short eligibility question, and to redirect clinical questions to staff.
We also cap daily sample volume per store so leftover cartons do not become clutter. Sell-out of the paid SKU is tracked separately from sample giveaway, which keeps the brand conversation honest when the campaign readout lands.
